Office Safety Precautions in Effect During the Pandemic
AAP is taking the following precautions to protect our clients and help slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms has been arranged for appropriate physical distancing.
Staff and clinicians wear masks in public areas.
Staff and clinicians maintain safe distancing.
Restroom soap dispensers are maintained and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.
Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the waiting rooms, restrooms and at the reception counter.
We schedule appointments at different intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.
We ask all patients to either wait in their cars or outside or in the waiting area wearing a mask.
Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
Physical contact is not permitted.
Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
Common areas are thoroughly disinfected throughout the day and at the start and end of each day.
If you are ill, are taking care of someone who is ill, or believe you may have been exposed to someone with the virus, please DO NOT come in to the office. Please call the office to check with your therapist about telephone or telehealth sessions.
Thank you and stay safe,
The Staff and Clinicians at Associates for Applied Psychology
